Hendersonville Community Theatre Important Message

To our friends and supporters in the Hendersonville Community Theatre family:

The HCT Board has given much  thought to how and when we can  provide a safe environment to all of our volunteers and patrons during the recovery from the pandemic and the gradual return to some semblance of normal  life as we knew it before COVID-19.  At this point, we think it is both unlikely and unwise for HCT to resume live theatrical programming before the end of 2020. Therefore, we have decided to set our eyes toward selecting productions for a strong 2021 season, with a triumphant return. The good news is that we are weighing how we can rearrange our calendar in order to re-schedule and produce shows like : Driving Miss Daisy, Noises Off and Three Tall Women that were already in rehearsal when we were forced to shut down. We are not announcing specific dates, nor the roster of shows including others that had yet to commence auditions and rehearsals, because no one can predict accurately and honestly how things will play out in our region. But rest assured, you will be the first to know when we begin to ramp up production again.

These crackpot comedies both turn family upside down in a way that only Christopher Durang can.
