Hendersonville Theatre has been awarded a grant of $25,000 by the Community Foundationof Henderson County.

“We are pleased and excited to receive so much support from the Community Foundation,” said Hendersonville Theatre President Janice Guazzo. “The grant money will be used to support our programming for 2022-23.”

“After the last two years of closures, our organization is thrilled to be back producing live theatre, music concerts, events and classes,” added Artistic Director Victoria Lamberth. “We knew reopening was going to be a big challenge, both financially and logistically. The grant from the Community Foundation of Henderson County will give us additional resources to help us continue to bring affordable performing arts to our community.”

Since 1966, Hendersonville Theatre has provided an inviting and nurturing environment for live theatre, as well as high-quality, affordable entertainment for the residents of Hendersonville and surrounding areas.

Community Foundation of Henderson County, founded in 1982, supports charitable programs in the greater Henderson County area.
