Madison Brightwell (Mrs. Dudley) Madison has lived in Asheville for three years now and loves being part of this great theater community. She is thrilled to be part of this great show and to work at HT for the first time. Madison was a professional actress in her native Britain before moving to the US in 1997. Favorite roles include Lady MacBeth, Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mrs. Dolly Levi in The Matchmaker.

Hendersonville Little Theatre

Jonathan Forrester (Director and Understudy) Jonathan has been a part of Hendersonville Theatre since 2009. His involvement began with the production of God’s Favorite in the The Barn located off of State Street in Hendersonville. From there he went on to produce, direct and stage manage numerous shows for the theatre. He has also directed several productions for Brevard Little Theatre. He has served on the board of directors as executive producer for the past 3 seasons. When not onstage or working behind the scenes, Jonathan is a life enrichment director for Trinity View Senior Living Community in Arden.


Kai Elijah Hamilton (ArthurKai is no stranger on or off of the Hendersonville Theatre stage. He co-directed and wrote 2021’s Haunted Chilling Tales. Before that, he played in such roles as Tom in The Glass Menagerie and Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire. Most notably he directed the trailblazer A Raisin in the Sun and the infamous The Turn of the Screw. Kai has been with this theatre for over 15 years starting back at the barn. He would like to thank Hendersonville Theatre for the opportunity to be a part of this artistic community again. “Being here is like coming back home to the dreamer in me.”

hassinger, sara

Sara Hassinger (Stage Manager) This is Sara’s eighth production at Hendersonville Theatre, beginning in 2018 with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She has also worked at ACT, Montford Park Players and NC Stage. In her past life, Sara was a TV Director, so bossing people around comes naturally. Sara would like to thank cohorts Victoria Lamberth and Jonathan Forrester for the opportunity to work on Hill House.

Joshua Kerber (Luke) Joshua Kerber is an Asheville local and amateur actor who has recently rediscovered his passion for theatre. He made to return to the stage last year after an eight year hiatus. Since then, he has performed in Sword in the StoneClueFight Girl Battle World, and Much Ado About Nothing. He plans on continuing to spread his theatre wings as he makes his Hendersonville Theatre debut in The Haunting of Hill House!

Allison Starling

Allison Starling (Elenora) Allison is excited to be returning to the Hendersonville Theatre stage. Her passions include musical theatre and theatre design. which she hopes to continue to pursue. She graduated from North Greenville University in 2017 with a degree in theatre design with a focus in costuming. She wants to thank Jonathan, Sara, and the entire team at Hendersonville Theatre for allowing her to be a part of all the fun.

Sharon Taylor

Sharon Taylor (Mrs. Montague) Sharon lives in West Asheville, having relocated from South Florida where she acted extensively in both community and regional theater. She was last seen in the role of Mrs. White in the Production of Clue at Asheville Community Theater. She is thrilled to be making her Hendersonville Theater debut working with such a talented cast and crew. She would like to thank all of you seated in the audience for supporting the arts and Hendersonville Theater.

Terry Terranova

Terry Terranova (Dr. Montague) Bill, or Terry as his friends know him, recently moved to the area from Charleston, SC. His favorite roles include Fagin in Oliver!, Bellomy in The Fantasticks, Charlie in The Foreigner, and Otto in The Diary of Anne Frank (because his daughter played Anne). He is very pleased, and very fortunate, to be working with this new group of wonderful and talented people here at HT.

Blaine Weiss

Blaine Weiss (Theodora) Blaine is excited to make her debut at Hendersonville Theatre. She originally wanted the role of Hill House itself, but Theodora will just have to do. She’s graced the stage of Montford Park Players and Asheville Community Theatre in recent productions of The Little PrinceAs You Like ItPericles/Macbeth, and Fight Girl Battle World. She wants to thank her boyfriend for the love and support as she’s dived right into this new hobby and all the directors that have taken a chance on her (she wouldn’t be here without them). And of course this fun, festive, and collaborative cast for their dedication to this show and finding the humor in the haunted. Thank you for supporting local theatre.
