All Ticket Sales will incur a Service Fee of $4.00 per ticket which includes NC Sales Tax.
All Ticket Exchanges will incur a Service Fee of $3.00 per ticket.
Ticket purchases must be secured with cash, check, or credit card. All sales are final. No refunds.
All audience members, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Flat Rock Playhouse Gift Certificate for all orders, as well as cash and checks when purchasing in person. Service fees apply to all orders.
Authorized Ticket Seller
The Hendersonville Theatre Box Office – by phone, in person, or online at HVLtheatre.org – is the only official retail ticket outlet for all performances at Hendersonville Theatre. Ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party should be aware that Hendersonville Theatre is unable to reprint, replace, or exchange lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance. HT also cannot guarantee the validity of any third party tickets.
A 10% group discount is available for parties of ten or more. Only one form of payment and one contact person is acceptable for group sales. A performance may be deemed closed to groups 24 hours before a performance or when a certain number of tickets are sold. Please note: Discount and blackout dates may vary and are specific to each show in our season. All discounts are off the regular, un-discounted ticket price. Group discount rates may not be combined with other discount offers, including, but not limited to: subscription tickets, flex passes, promotional discounts, etc.
Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for a different date/time of the same production with 48-hours or more notice prior to your currently scheduled show time. If you need to exchange your tickets, please contact the box office at (828) 692-1082 at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled performance, subject to seating availability. All exchanges are subject to a $3 per ticket exchange fee. All productions, dates, times and pricing are subject to change.
Hendersonville Theater is proud to support our community through ticket donations. Any unused tickets will be donated to the theatre and used to support the arts in Henderson County. You will receive a tax-deductible donation letter for the price of your ticket.
Late Arrivals & Standbys
Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same show if the exchange is made at least 48 hours in advance of the performance. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Please plan to arrive at the theatre at least 10 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin. As a courtesy to other patrons, late arrivals may not be seated in their ticketed seats once the performance has begun. Late seating is at the discretion of the house manager. Additionally, late arrivals may be asked to delay their entrance until a suitable moment within the production.
Hendersonville Theatre reserves the right to resell tickets if you have not arrived by showtime and no refund will be issued for late arrivals. We suggest that you call the Box Office at (828) 692-1082 if you know that you will be delayed.
When a performance is sold out, Hendersonville Theatre will start selling “standby” tickets one hour before each performance in person, at the box office only. If a ticket holder does not show up by showtime, a Standby ticket holder takes their place in the theatre. You must pay for your ticket to be put on the Standby list. If there are not enough cancellations or no-shows at curtain time for you to be seated, we’ll immediately issue a refund of your “standby” ticket or help you select another available performance of the same show.
There is seating in the lobby, as well as beverages and snacks at our concessions/bar that you can enjoy while waiting. Each member of your party must be present (or near the lobby) when your name is announced, or your “standby” ticket will be immediately refunded and the next patron on the list will be announced.
Upon purchase of a Flex Pass, each patron will receive a confirmation email with a code. You may then proceed to our ticketing page to pick your seats and shows. Upon check out, you will enter the code from your email in the field for “promo code.” You may also use the link in their confirmation email to make your seat and show selection. Your order will be adjusted automatically as the pass is used. You may also call our box office at (828) 692-1082 with your code, and we would be happy to complete your order.
“The show must go on.” At Hendersonville Theatre, it is normally our policy to not cancel performances due to bad weather. As a result, we urge our ticket holders to make every effort to attend their ticketed performance. Should this prove impossible, please call the Box Office as soon as possible before the performance. Alternative arrangements will be made when possible. We cannot guarantee that seating will be available for an alternate performance. Refunds will not be issued for bad weather unless the theatre cancels the performance because of emergency circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, the Box Office will notify all ticket holder immediately by email.
