It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play – DECEMBER 5-15

Frank Capra’s beloved American holiday classic film is reimagined as a live 1940s radio broadcast. Set in Studio A at WBFR in Manhattan on Christmas Eve 1946, this hilarious re-enactment, with the help of a live Foley and a talented small ensemble, brings the entire town of Bedford Falls to life on stage.

BonaFide featuring Paula Harris – NOVEMBER 16

To close out our 2024 Hometown Sound Music Series, Hendersonville Theatre presents a special concert, BonaFide featuring Paula Harris. Just like the definition of the band’s name, BonaFide is “authentic, sincere or without artifice.” The band dishes out music that is “genuine & real” from organic instruments and no special effects. Approachable with broad appeal, the group is influenced by many American music genres including groups like Stuff, Anita Baker, and Post Modern Jukebox. BonaFide is, simply put, great music from musicians at the top of their game, sophisticated, fresh, and fun!

Misery – OCTOBER 17-27

True life becomes stranger than fiction when an acclaimed romance novelist wakes up in the home of his “number one fan.” Based on Stephen King’s acclaimed, best-selling novel, the tense cat-and-mouse game will grip you until the very end.

Murder on the Orient Express – OCTOBER 5-6

This Agatha Christie classic features a cast of colorful characters and a plot twist that is sure to delight any mystery fan! Ken Ludwig’s clever adaptation boasts all the glamor, intrigue, and suspense of the celebrated novel, with a healthy dose of humor.

Leon Timbo & The Family Band – SEPTEMBER 21

Hendersonville Theatre welcomes Leon Timbo and the Family Band as September’s intimate HT’s Hometown Sound Music Series concert! For country-soul singer-songwriter Leon Timbo’s sound incorporates equal measures of vintage soul, gospel, folk, R&B, and even modern blues making for a unique experience that some have described as “transparent soul.”

YOU SOLVE THE CRIME!.. an interactive MUSICAL COMEDY MURDER MYSTERY DINNER SHOW! It’s 1928…in a speakeasy, “Ruby’s Place,” where the grieving family is holding a memorial service for Vito “The Gut” Marzetti.
